💰 9th graders played Monopoly in Business Fundamentals class this week! They were business owners who had to make smart financial decisions to keep their business from going bankrupt. Students kept track of their transactions while playing.
🎳 This week in Elementary PE, 1st - 6th grades were introduced to the sport of bowling. The Wonder Lanes Manager Andrew has been very helpful in sharing and demonstrating some bowling knowledge with the students. They had a great week!

With the help of some extra students, the Entrepreneurship class played “The Trading Game”…
Players were given a different amount of money and resources, which included crude oil, machinery, lumber, and electronics. They practiced the principles of capitalism and resource management. Each of the three rounds had different goals, which required lots of strategy!
🌟Congrats to this group of kids who earned “Positive Office Referrals” for doing something awesome last month!
Update: The 10th graders will NOT be cleaning the gym after the game tonight (Thursday).
The Varsity Valorant team 1 competed against Red Lake Secondary yesterday and won two games to zero. In both games, the team won 13-0.

Congratulations to Donavun McCorkle, who is the school winner of the Poetry Out Loud competition that took place in Mr. Eich's classes!
The Poetry Out Loud program tests students' ability to memorize and perform a poem based on their interpretation of the meaning. Students also complete an analysis of their poem to better understand it. Donavun took first for his performance of the poem "It Is Not," written by Valerie Martinez. Donavun will be performing at the state competition in Bismarck on February 27th. Go Donavun!
