They spoke to our K-12 students in an engaging and informative session on creating a welcoming and supportive environment in our school. This event was designed to bring our community together, celebrate our shared values, and explore how we can ensure every student feels welcome, safe, and cared for!


JUNIOR PARENTS: We are pleased to inform you that New Rockford-Sheyenne High School will be offering the ACT (American College Testing) exam for our 11th Grade students. The ACT is a widely recognized college admissions test that assesses students' academic skills in English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science, and is used by colleges and universities for admissions and scholarship purposes.
The test will be administered during school hours. Participation in the ACT exam is optional starting this year, and we invite students to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance their college readiness.
Please review the following important details:
If you would like your child to participate in the ACT testing, please complete the Opt -In permission slip being sent home on 1-17-25 and return it by 1-23-25. Participation is optional, and we encourage you to speak with your child about whether they would like to take the test.

There will be a baseball meeting for all 8th-12th graders tomorrow after school. Room is to be decided.
The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition is on Sunday, January 26th at 1:00 in the gym. This is open to students ages 9 to 14. You have to be 9 years old as of January 1. You can sign up at the event. Gym opens at noon to practice.
Attention 9th-12th grade students, if you take a to-go lunch, you must leave the campus to eat it!
For grades 7-12 ineligibility and eligibility will be pulled Tuesday, January 28th.
Lunch today is Chicken Wing and Mac and Cheese or a Cheese Sandwich.
