They found out what the jobs entail, what the salary can be, what type of training/degree is required, and what some perks of the job might be. Their displays made for a colorful hallway and great information to read!

C Squad & JV BBB Jamboree Schedule for Saturday, January 21st.
On Saturday, January 14, the NR-S Rockets will host the Washburn Cardinals for JV/V boys basketball games. The Washburn Cardinals head coach, Josh Sharp, had a devastating house fire on January 6.
Josh, his wife Meagan, and their 3 boys lost nearly everything. The Sharps are currently staying with family until they can find a rental. Rocket Boosters, along with the NR-S community would like to offer a little relief in this tragic time. There will be a free-will donation box set up at the Rocket Booster popcorn stand for anyone who wishes to donate. All donations, along with all of the concession proceeds from the games, will be given to Coach Sharp Saturday afternoon.
Great opportunities to help people out are all around; thank you for your support!

At their meeting last night, the NRS School Board modified the school calendar to address our snow days prior to the Christmas break.
We will now be 'in session': February 17 and February 20. The early dismissal, originally scheduled for February 16, will be moved to February 17. Please see one of the administrators if you have needs impacted by these changes.
Winter Sports Fees are DUE!
If your child is in boys basketball, girls basketball, or archery, their sports fees are due now. The fee for a high school student in basketball is $35, junior high is $25. Grades 4-12 Archery is $40. THANKS!
