🏀 New Rockford-Sheyenne Public School will be hosting the District Boys Basketball Tournament on February 28, March 3, and March 4, 2025. We will be dismissing school early to accommodate for teams and fans arriving at the school:
*Friday, Feb. 28th @ 2:15 p.m.
*Monday, Mar. 3rd @ 2:15 p.m.
Because this is a district tournament, students and fans will need to pay to attend the event. Prices are $10/adults and $5/students, which is set by the NDHSAA.
Parking for the event is available around the perimeter of the school, with all north entrances open for access (see map).
We hope you will join us!

Baseball season is upon us with some exciting changes for 2025! 2024 was an amazing year for the Black Sox as they qualified for the ND State Tournament and represented our communities proudly!
However, we came across an issue last spring when our young men qualified for the State Tournament. Since the Sheyenne and New Rockford communities are one combined location for education, all of our NDHSAA sports teams must fall under the same banner. In order to comply with mandatory guidelines, our spring baseball team will be the NR-S Rockets going forward. Our program will still continue to run the same as past years, just under a new name. Our board would like to show our appreciation for the founding members who started this program and show what it has grown into. Starting from the ground up, with no baseball program, the Sheyenne and New Rockford communities now offer baseball programs that run from ages 5 through 18 years! All of the summer ball programs, from t-ball through Legion Baseball, in our community, will continue to carry on the SNR Black Sox name proudly.
