Students in Miss Ang's Forensics class visited the ND Crime Lab and toured the different units with Forensic Scientist Amy Gebhardt! They saw the Toxicology, Biology, Toolkit, and Latent Prints sections, met several forensic scientists behind the work, and learned how they analyze evidence to help solve cases.

The 2026 North Dakota Academic All-State Team, coordinated by the North Dakota Association of Secondary School Principals (NDASSP) and partners, honors top high school seniors for outstanding academics, leadership, and service. Gold, Silver, and Bronze medalists are selected based on GPA, ACT/SAT scores, and activities, and will be recognized at the State Class B boys basketball tournament in March 2026.

❤️ Charli Dewald received a Random Act of Kindness reward from Mrs. Volk, sponsored by the New Rockford Lions Club. Mrs. Homelvig nominated Charli for holding the door open for her classmates without being asked, when they return from bowling. Way to go Charli!
Our Pre-K students have been busy collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House, and today was weigh-in day! 🎉 Each session’s top collector won a giant Squishmallow, and all of our runners-up went home with smaller stuffies. 💕 We are so proud of our Pre-K friends for giving back and having fun while doing it! 👏💙
📚 Mrs. Koepplin's 3rd grade class read to Mrs. Yri’s kindergarten class and played some card games!
🍭 Mrs. Johnson’s Class celebrated being in school for over 100 days with a coffee shop! Her students had their very own barista. Frozen hot chocolate, and blue lemonade with nerds and a “salad” was on the menu for them today!
Carrie Nichols from the NDSU Extension office came in to do a handwashing presentation with our K-2 students last week! 🤚🏼 🧼
