This morning, the New Rockford – Sheyenne School Board met in a special meeting to review and interview applicants for the position of interim superintendent for the 2024-2025 school year. Mrs. Natalie Becker was offered and subsequently accepted the position under a one-year agreement. Mrs. Becker is a long serving educator and administrator with the New Rockford – Sheyenne School District. She will continue to serve in her current role as elementary principal along with the interim superintendent role.
Upon the resignation of Dr. Louters; the school board engaged a professional consultant to assist the board with finding her replacement. Following the review of applications and discussing our current needs along with the input from the public; the board determined that the best course of action was to proceed with an interim superintendent for the forthcoming school year. Current intentions are to resume the superintendent search in January of 2025.
The baseball game scheduled for today has been canceled.

NHS meeting will be THURSDAY at 8:15 am in the FACS room.

Mr. Baumbach and Mrs. Willyard were excited to take some middle school students to the NDASC State Student Council Convention on Monday and Tuesday of this week! A great time was had by all!
