Dear Families,
You are welcome to walk your child to their classroom on Thursday and Friday, August 22-23.
Beginning Monday, August 26, we kindly ask that you say your goodbyes at the main entrance, as students will walk to their classrooms independently.
Pickup will take place at 3:20 p.m. at the main entrance, where your child will meet you there or outside the building.

We will be making our middle and high school a phone-free space to improve teaching and learning using a system called Yondr. Yondr has been implemented in over 2,000 schools to facilitate an engaged learning environment.
We believe that phones have great utility. However, we have also found that learning and social behavior improve drastically when students are fully engaged with their teachers and classmates.
The Yondr Program utilizes a simple, secure pouch that stores a phone. Every student will secure their phone in a personally assigned Yondr pouch when they arrive at school. Students will remain in possession of their phones and will not use them until their pouches are opened at the end of the school day, while leaving for an open period, or while leaving for lunch (9-12). Students are required to bring theri Yondr pouch to and from school each day and are responsible for their pouch at all times.
Students in grades 7-9 will need to bring their Yondr pouch assigned to them last school year back to school on August 22.
If there is an emergency and you would like to contact your child, please call the main office. In an effort to best serve your child, we appreciate your support in adoption of the Yondr Program at our school. Parents or guardians will be asked to come to the school to pick up phones that are actively displayed or sound during the school day. We believe that this will be a supportive tool that helps our students and staff refocus their priority on learning and relationships in the classroom.
