Rocket football ended their season today with a loss against a tough North Border team. It was a hard fought game, but the Rockets came up short.
Shoutout to our 2 seniors who played their last fb season as a Rocket. 🚀
Trevor and Haydon…We will miss you next year on the field!

🍁Pre-K enjoying a beautiful fall day last week. Little do they know that while they rake, push and pull, jump and roll, they are working on their gross motor skills! ☀️🍂

The installation of both boilers is nearing completion. The vendor is waiting for a factory representative to start up the units and this will occur on Tuesday, October 17.
As we move into this weekend, we want to be prepared for declining internal temperatures in the building. We are monitoring temperatures throughout the day and will continue to do so throughout the weekend. Research suggests that sixty degrees is probably the 'lowest thermal learning temperature" that is appropriate for children, so that number will guide any decisions this weekend regarding whether or not we move to online learning on Monday.
All of our students, with the exception of preschool, will return home today with their Chromebooks. Please help us ensure that this unit is utilized only as needed for school work to preserve the charge on the unit. Our public will be notified on Sunday if we are needing to take this step; virtual learning at home. While it is our desire to be in session, in person, we need to ensure that the environment is conducive to learning.
This information will be posted on our facebook page and through our Instant Alert System.

Beginning Monday, our 9-12 students may request a “to-go” container from the lunchroom if they would like to take their school meal out of the building. While all meals eaten in the building need to be eaten in the lunchroom, if you want a “to go” meal, no problem!

⭐️ Something fun to do in Jamestown if interested ⭐️

Happy Friday! Last week, our local Nodak Insurance agent donated Halloween bags filled with treats for all the kids in grades K-8 to celebrate the fall season! 🎃
Thank you Chris Bichler!

Bundle Up for school tomorrow! It’s cold outside and the boilers are slowly but surely starting up… it just takes a while!

Our 9-12 grade students all have the opportunity to do some job shadowing something they are interested in this year. Rikka Gudmunson had an experience to job shadow an elementary art class. Both she and the 3rd grade students had a great time!

These Freshman scientists are changing the freezing point of solvents by using different solutes. It mimics how the DOT uses things like salt and beet brine on roadways to lower the freezing point of the road deck during winter plowing, or how using salt on a sidewalk helps to clear ice and snow. Cool project Mr. Huber! And cool goggles kids! 🧑🏼🔬👩🏼🔬🤣
