WELCOME new Special Ed Teacher Mrs. Cassie Johnson! Cassie lives in New Rockford with her husband & three dogs, Hank, Penny, & Maxwell. She has been in Special Ed for 7 years as a paraprofessional & special ed teacher. She will graduate in May from Colorado Christian University with a dual degree in Special Ed (strategist) & Elementary Ed. As her passion for education grows, she has decided to continue her education to receive her Masters degree in Educational Instruction in the fall of 2024.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, being outside, or watching documentaries. She is passionate about providing all of her students with a welcoming & comfortable learning environment. She aims to provide tools that each student needs to succeed most in & out of school. She is excited to work closely with the students & staff at NR-S!

NR-S would like to WELCOME Mayville State senior Riley Wass, of Devils Lake, ND, who is pursuing a Secondary Math Education major and a minor in Psychology. During the second semester, Mr. Wass will be student teaching under Mr. Stutlien and Mr. Bilden! We are so excited to have him on board!
